About ASEAN NCAP

The Voice for Vehicle Safety in Southeast Asia

The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) is a consumer advocacy program that independently assesses the safety performance of vehicles sold in the ASEAN region. Administered by MIROS, it provides transparent safety ratings covering adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, safety assist technologies, and motorcyclist safety.

Tests protection of child passengers using standardised dummies
Safety Assist
Assesses advanced driver assistance systems like AEB and ESC
